An engine oil change replaces old, degraded oil and the oil filter with fresh oil, restoring lubrication and heat management. Most bikes need one every 2,500–3,000 km or roughly every 3 months, whichever comes first.

How Engine Oil Change Works

  1. 1The mechanic warms the engine briefly so old oil drains fully.
  2. 2Old oil is drained and the used oil filter is removed.
  3. 3A new filter is fitted and fresh oil is added to the manufacturer-specified level.
  4. 4The engine is run briefly to check for leaks around the drain plug and filter.
  5. 5Final oil level is confirmed before handover.
